Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. Responsibilities include supporting the Store Manager, supervising Store Associates, and ensuring a clean, well-organized store. You will help with opening/closing, merchandising, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and processing damaged goods.
• Maintain store areas and stockroom to company standards.
• Protect company assets and maintain cash handling responsibilities.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
