Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development.

In this role you’ll assist with opening and closing procedures, merchandise organization, and loss prevention while ensuring friendly, efficient service to shoppers. You’ll work in a fast-paced retail environment, train and supervise store associates, and help maintain clean, well-stocked sales floors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks including walking, standing, and repetitive lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
