Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and ensure a clean, safe environment while upholding company policies.

The role may include opening/closing, payroll records, scheduling, and loss prevention duties, with opportunities to train and develop Store Associates in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain areas of the store to company standards and protect store assets.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates under the Store Manager.
