Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a Store Associate at our VA BCH-CONSTITUTION location. You’ll help customers find products, provide friendly checkout service, and participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram duties to keep the store well-merchandised.

You will engage customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments, support Omni channel processes, and maintain store standards. This role requires standing and walking throughout shifts and may involve evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move through the store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Maintain store appearance and inventory, complete merchandise recovery and returns
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Follow SOPs and company policies; be a positive role model for team members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
