Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a team member in Vienna, VA to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining in-store presentation, while assisting with BOPIS/SFS and rewards enrollments.

Role emphasizes customer interaction, adherence to SOPs, and cross-training in framing and production tasks. Must be able to lift and move merchandise and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and reach high shelves with ladder or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go-back process and in-stock store.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; maintain compliance with laws and requirements.
• Interact respectfully; model positive behavior and company values.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
