Job summary

Michaels Beckley is hiring a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will assist with unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining a well-merchandised, in-stock store while supporting omni-channel processes.

The role involves engaging customers in rewards programs, adhering to SOPs, and contributing to safety and shrink programs. Physical duties include standing for long periods and light lifting.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to engage customers and provide solutions.
• Comfort with cash handling and checkout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Assist with omni-channel processes such as BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain in-stock store through merchandise recovery and returns processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
