Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a store associate at our Virginia center location. You will deliver friendly customer service, help customers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will assist with stocking, returns, and in-store merchandising while supporting omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

The role requires standing for long periods, flexible hours including nights and weekends, and compliance with SOPs. Minimum age is sixteen with a focus on helpful, respectful service.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they're looking for.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in stock, planograms, and merchandise recovery to keep the store well stocked.
