Schweitzer is seeking a Seasoned Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in the Sky House kitchen in Sandpoint, Idaho. You will supervise staff, uphold food quality and safety, assist in menu planning, and help manage inventory and daily operations.

The role requires 4+ years in restaurant kitchen experience, strong knife skills, and mastery of multiple cooking techniques. This position is full-time seasonal with a dynamic, collaborative culture at Schweitzer.

Formación

• License/Certifications: Idaho Food Safety Certification (will be allowed to take test upon hire).
• Experience: 4+ years in restaurant kitchen and line cook roles.
• Hands-on cooking skills across multiple stations and prep work.

Responsabilidades

• Train staff in kitchen operations in collaboration with Head Chef.
• Ensure prep aligns with recipes, portion standards, and service flow.
• Assist Head Chef with menu planning and directing food preparation for Sky House.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations and supervise kitchen staff for efficiency.
• Manage daily production and prep lists; ensure timely setup and pickups.
• Complete prep and maintain backups to ensure daily readiness.
• Ensure all food meets high-quality standards and safe storage practices.
• Organize and rotate inventory from the warehouse; maintain stock levels.
• Collaborate with Front of House and Back of House teams.
