Schweitzer Mountain Resort in Idaho is seeking a Full Time Seasonal Kitchen position. The role includes opening/closing the BOH, ensuring staff arrive on time in uniform, and maintaining a clean, organized workstation to support smooth service.

Responsibilities include food prep, cooking on a line for breakfast and lunch, and strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards with opportunities for benefits and tips where applicable.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in cooking and food prep per established recipes and quality standards.
• Experience with a variety of cooking methods (grilling, frying, etc.).
• Minimum 2 years kitchen experience, at least 1 year at The Outback; English reading/writing and math skills required.

Responsabilités

• Execute all food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and preparing sauces.
• Cook and assemble a variety of menu items—breakfast and lunch—on a cooking line.
• Be proficient with a variety of cooking methods (grilling, frying, etc.).
• Ensure all dishes meet quality and presentation standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation regulations; maintain clean workstation.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with purchasing.
• Shovel Snow and support other duties as assigned.
