Job summary

Schweitzer in Idaho is hiring a Chef De Partie (Lead Line Cook) to identify prep needs and lead the line during service. You will handle food prep, presentation, and maintain kitchen cleanliness.

The role requires 4+ years of line cook experience, knife skills, and knowledge of sauces and cooking methods. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits and a comprehensive perks package.

Qualifications

• License/Certifications - Idaho Food Safety Certification is preferred
• Experience as Lead Line Cook or Chef De Partie preferred
• Minimum 4 years line cook experience required

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces.
• Ensure all prep is done according to recipes and portion standards. Work in close liaison with chef/sous chef.
• Cooking and assembling dishes with attention to presentation and quality.
• Maintains a clean and organized workstation.
• Follows sanitation and safety procedures to ensure a hygienic kitchen environment.
• Responsible for inventory and stock management by assisting in receiving and storing deliveries and alerting leadership when inventory stock is low or expired.
• Must be willing to work with both the Back of House and Front of House teams.
