Schweitzer in Sandpoint, ID, is seeking a Sky House Sous Chef for the winter season. As second-in-command to the Head Chef, you will supervise kitchen staff, ensure recipe compliance, maintain hygiene, and assist in menu planning and inventory.

The role requires 4+ years in a restaurant kitchen, Idaho Food Safety Certification (test on hire), and ability to work in a fast-paced, 100% indoor worksite with potential outdoor shifts in shoulder seasons.

Formación

• 4+ years in restaurant kitchen and line cook experience.
• Idaho Food Safety Certification required or can take test on hire.
• Must be able to stand long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
• English reading/writing and basic math required.

Responsabilidades

• Train staff in cooperation with Head Chef and supervise line stations.
• Lead service and ensure meals meet recipes and portion standards.
• Plan and direct food prep for Sky House operations.
• Manage inventory and daily prep lists.
• Maintain food quality and safety standards.
