Soho House is seeking a Server to deliver an elevated dining experience for members and guests in Chicago. The role emphasizes educating guests on menu items and allergies, maintaining Soho House Service Standards, and collaborating across FOH/BOH teams for seamless service.

The position is seasonal through September, with pre/post-service duties, POS entry, and a focus on guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Hospitable, approachable, and customer-focused.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience with POS systems and tipping culture.
• Collaborative team player with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with coworkers and management.
• Elevate dining experience through pairing and discussing specials.
• Communicate allergies and red flags to management and chef.
• Complete end-of-shift check out reports.
• Adhere to health, safety, and company policies.
• Ensure orders are plated and served correctly.
• Support runners and bussers as needed.
• Maintain server alley and bar area cleanliness.
• Know the menu and be able to suggest items.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
