Job summary

Soho House & Co in Chicago is seeking a Server to deliver elevated hospitality, educate guests on menu items and allergies, and uphold Soho House Service Standards throughout service. You will collaborate with FOH/BOH teams, enter orders accurately into the POS, and contribute to a smooth, guest-centric dining experience while maintaining composure under pressure.

The role requires a minimum of 2+ years in a similar capacity, outbound guest engagement, and a proactive approach to upselling food

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity.
• Fast-paced, high-volume environments; stay calm and solve problems under pressure.
• Hospitable, approachable and customer-focused with respect for colleagues and guests.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with coworkers and management; complete checklists.
• Elevate the dining experience with menu knowledge, specials and upselling where appropriate.
• Communicate allergies or red flags to management and executive chef.
• Complete end-of-shift reports and obtain sign-off from management.
• Adhere to health, safety, and company policies and local laws.
• Ensure accurate plating and timing of courses for members/guests.
• Assist runners and bussers to support all table orders.
