Job summary

Soho House & Co. in Chicago is seeking a Server to understand and educate members and guests on menu items, allergies, and to deliver an elevated experience by adhering to Soho House Service Standards.

You will enter orders into the POS and collaborate with Front of House and Back of House teams to support guest needs. The role requires a minimum of 2 years in a similar capacity, thrives under pressure, and maintains hospitality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Hospitable, approachable and customer-focused.
• Must work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to take direction and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with coworkers and management.
• Influence guests experience by elevating dining with menu knowledge and specials.
• Communicate allergy information to prevent risks and ensure safety.
• Complete end-of-shift reports and obtain management sign-off.
• Adhere to health, safety, and company policies, procedures and laws.
• Ensure orders are plated and served correctly to members/guests.
• Assist runners and bussers to support table orders.
• Clean and stock server areas, polish silverware and glassware.
• Know the menu and offer informed recommendations to guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
