Job summary

Soho House in New York is seeking a Server to guide guests through the menu, address allergies, and provide an elevated dining experience. You will work with FOH/BOH teams, take orders accurately in the POS, and participate in pre- and post-service duties.

Applicants should have at least 2 years in a similar role, be calm under pressure, and excel in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility for weekends/holidays and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity.
• Thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments and stays calm under pressure.
• Hospitable, approachable and passionate about customer service.
• Able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Tips certified and POS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with coworkers and management.
• Elevate dining experience by discussing specials and pairing options to drive sales.
• Communicate allergies or red flags to management and chef.
• Complete checkout reports with accuracy.
• Adhere to health, safety and company policies across NY law.
• Ensure orders are plated and served correctly to members/guests.
• Assist runners and bussers with expo and service bar tickets.
• Maintain server alley and bar area cleanliness and stock.
