Job summary

Michaels Stores in Charlotte, NC is hiring a store associate to help customers find products, provide friendly service, and ensure a fast checkout experience.

The role includes unloading trucks, stocking shelves, executing planograms, supporting BOPIS and Ship From Store, and contributing to a well-merchandised, in-stock store. We offer employee discounts and a range of benefits; candidates should be able to stand for long periods and lift boxes as needed.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store
• Physical ability to lift and carry boxes, bend and reach as needed

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Maintain store recovery to ensure a well-merchandised and in-stock store
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; interact respectfully with customers and team members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
