Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking Seasonal Customer Service Representatives to support a well-known retail brand in a high-volume e-commerce environment. You will assist customers with placing orders, checking product availability, and answering questions on promotions, shipping, returns, and order status.

Ideal candidates have prior customer service experience, strong communication and data-entry skills, and comfort with phones and computers.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening.
• Comfortable speaking with customers over the phone.
• Strong data-entry skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to learn new systems and product information quickly.
• Dependable and able to commit to a 40-hour workweek.
• Ability to remain patient and professional with challenging customers.
• Retail, e-commerce, order processing, call center or customer support experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle a varying volume of inbound customer calls.
• Help customers place orders accurately and efficiently.
• Answer questions regarding products, availability, pricing, promotions, discounts, and order status.
• Assist with questions about shipping, returns, and company policies.
• Troubleshoot routine customer concerns and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Provide friendly, professional and empathetic service.
• Accurately enter order information and document customer interactions.
• Navigate multiple computer systems while assisting customers.
• Stay current on products, promotions and ordering procedures.
• Use downtime between calls to build product knowledge.
• Meet established customer service, quality and productivity expectations.
