Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking team members in a retail environment to deliver friendly customer service and a fast checkout experience in a climate-controlled store with room to grow.

You will engage customers, support omnichannel options, and help maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store. Responsibilities include assisting customers, executing transactions per standards, and participating in truck unloads, stocking, and planogram compliance while upholding safety and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Must satisfy federal, state, and local requirements; at least sixteen (16) years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating products and offering solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience and adhere to cash-handling standards.
• Promote Michaels Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll customers.
• Educate customers about VOC surveys and omnichannel options (BOPIS/SFS).
• Support truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain in-stock conditions and perform store recovery and merchandiser duties.
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs and company policies.
