Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store associate in Oregon to deliver friendly customer service, help customers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking, store recovery, and multichannel processes such as BOPIS and SFS to support our brand promises.

Ideal candidates have retail and/or customer service experience and are comfortable standing and lifting in a busy retail environment. Evening and weekend availability is common in this role.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock conditions; support shrink and safety programs.
