Job summary

Michaels in Lubbock, TX is seeking team members to deliver friendly customer service and efficient checkout experiences in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will assist customers, participate in truck unloads, stocking, and shelf replenishment, and support omni-channel tasks like BOPIS and SFS. This role involves standing and moving throughout the store, with weekend and evening shifts likely.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Comfort with store policies and processes (SOPs)

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and go-back
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; interact positively with team
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
