Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store associate in Longview, TX to help customers shop, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining in-stock conditions while supporting Omni channel services such as BOPIS and SFS.

The role emphasizes customer service, merchandise recovery, and adherence to SOPs and store policies, with opportunities to cross-train in Custom Framing.

Qualifications

• Retail and customer service experience preferred.
• Cash handling experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go-back process
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; interact respectfully and maintain positive image
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
