Job summary

Schweitzer in Sandpoint, Idaho seeks a lead cook and supervisor for Sam's Alley to guide the pizza and sandwich team in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. You will train staff on portions, cooking techniques and station setup, ensuring smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities include overseeing production, maintaining food safety and inventory, and collaborating with the Taps Manager on specials and scheduling. Prior supervisory kitchen experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Must have basic English reading and writing skills.
• 1 year of kitchen experience required.
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of Sam's Alley outlet and prepare for daily lunch crowd.
• Prep stations for pizzas and sandwiches and manage morning setup.
• Ensure quality, consistency and food-safety standards in all dishes.
• Occasionally operate as cashier and handle basic transactions.
• Work with Taps Manager on staff, inventories, ordering and scheduling.
