Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company in Sandpoint, Idaho is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to lead the Sam’s Alley team for the winter season. You will oversee daily operations, manage prep for pizzas and sandwiches, ensure food safety, and support the Taps Manager with staff, inventories, scheduling, and events.

The role requires 1 year kitchen experience and 2 years supervisory experience, with Idaho Food Safety Certification provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year kitchen experience
• Experience supervising a kitchen team is a plus
• Basic food safety knowledge and willingness to train

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Sam’s Alley food outlet.
• Lead pizzas and sandwiches team; train on portions and cooking techniques.
• Ensure quality, safety, and consistency; maintain proper inventory.
• Help manage staff, scheduling, and daily specials with Taps Manager.
• Handle cashier duties and guest service as needed.
