Alterra Mountain Company’s Schweitzer resort in Sandpoint, ID is hiring a Cook for Sam’s Alley this winter season. You’ll prepare pizzas and sandwiches, ensure quality and food safety, and assist as a cashier when needed in a fast-paced guest environment.

Ideal candidates bring kitchen experience, Idaho Food Safety Certification, and a friendly, team-focused attitude; training is provided. This seasonal role offers benefits and opportunities within a growing alpine community.

Qualifications

• Idaho Food Safety Certification (training provided).
• Cooking skills and basic kitchen skills preferred.
• Computer and point of sale experience preferred.
• English reading and writing required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble pizzas and sandwiches, ensuring quality and safety.
• Maintain proper food handling, storage and presentation per health codes.
• Operate as cashier when needed, handling basic monetary transactions.
• Collaborate with Kitchen Supervisor and team to uphold hospitality and teamwork.
