Sur La Table is seeking a Seasonal Kitchen Assistant to inspire customers through every stage of their culinary journey. You will support chefs, engage with guests, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen while delivering exceptional service in-store and during classes.

The role emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and product knowledge to create memorable experiences. Availability is 12–16 hours per week, with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• 1 year retail sales experience, preferred.
• 1 year food prep and/or kitchen operations experience, preferred.
• Valid Food Handlers Certification.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Passion for community engagement and providing exceptional customer experiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail systems preferred.

Responsabilités

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand and culture by creating memorable, educational experiences that inspire repeat visits and customer loyalty.
• Maintain product knowledge and engage in training to stay current.
• Lead a guest-focused culture in both kitchen and retail sales areas.
• Assist chefs with class execution to drive repeat visits and positive feedback.
• Help achieve class revenue goals through high enrollment and strong reviews.
• Support class setup and cleanup, inventory, and overall store readiness.
