Job summary

Sur La Table is hiring a Seasonal Kitchen Assistant to support chefs, engage guests, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen during classes. You’ll help deliver a best-in-class guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates have about a year of retail and/or kitchen operations experience, a valid Food Handler Certification, and enjoy teamwork, hospitality, and flexibility with a part-time schedule (12–16 hours weekly).

Qualifications

• 1 year retail sales experience preferred.
• 1 year food prep and/or kitchen operations experience preferred.
• Valid Food Handler Certification.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand by creating memorable experiences that inspire loyalty.
• Assist chefs with class execution and drive enrollment and positive guest feedback.
• Set up and break down classes, prep ingredients, maintain cleanliness, and restock supplies.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and inventory controls in the kitchen and store areas.
