Job summary

Hot Topic, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Key Holder who will help deliver an exceptional customer experience and support the store leadership team.

You will train new recruits, assist in daily operations, and work toward achieving sales targets while leveraging product knowledge and fandom expertise. You will cover storefront responsibilities, process transactions, help maintain visual standards, and contribute to planogram changes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment.
• Strong customer service and selling skills.
• Ability to lead and train new team members.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and lead when needed.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide a great shopping experience and knowledge of products.
• Support store leadership and help run the store when manager is unavailable.
• Understand sales goals and help drive KPIs like UPT and ADT.
• Maintain visual standards and assist with opening/closing the store.
• Handle transactions and drive add-on sales, report shortages/overages to manager.
• Assist with planogram changes and merchandising.
• Share fashion and music trend information with management and HQ.
• Prevent misuse of spells and theft alongside store management.
• Keep stock room organized and store tidy.
• Train and coach new Sales Associates as needed.
