Job summary

Hot Topic, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Key Holder to support the store leadership team in delivering an outstanding customer experience. You will train new recruits, help drive sales targets, and ensure the store runs smoothly during your shift while maintaining visual standards.

You’ll manage register transactions, share trend insights with management, and assist with merchandising and stockroom organization. A strong team player with retail passion will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and selling ability.
• Diploma or GED required.
• Collaborative and leadership skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an amazing shopping experience to encourage repeat visits.
• Provide leadership support and assist store manager when needed.
• Understand sales plans and help drive KPIs like UPT and ADT.
• Maintain visual standards and assist with opening/closing tasks.
• Handle transactions at the register and communicate shortages or overages to the manager.
• Assist with planogram changes and merchandising changes.
• Share fashion and music trend information with management and HQ partners.
• Support stock room and store tidiness with the team.
• Train and coach new Sales Associates as needed.
• Complete other duties assigned by the Store Leader.
