Job summary

Hot Topic, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Key Holder to support the store leadership team and ensure an outstanding customer experience for fans of music and pop culture. You will train new recruits, help meet sales targets, and assist with store operations during peak seasons.

You’ll use product knowledge to engage customers, drive add-on sales, and maintain visual standards on the sales floor. This role requires enthusiasm, reliability, and a collaborative spirit.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Ability to learn product knowledge and share it with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming shopping experience and train customers and new recruits.
• Support store leadership and help run the store when the manager is away.
• Help drive sales by meeting KPIs like UPT and ADT.
• Assist with opening/closing and maintaining visual standards of the store.
• Process transactions, suggest add-ons, and report shortages or overages to the manager.
• Support merchandising and planogram changes and communicate trends to leadership.
