Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a Kettle Assistant to support bell ringing and logistics for the annual Christmas campaign. You will handle data-related tasks, scheduling, and customer interactions, helping ensure smooth operations and fundraising success.

This temporary role requires willingness to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with local travel and a focus on service and teamwork within the corps community.

Qualifications

• Must be able to interact in a friendly and compassionate manner.
• Must pass pre-employment background inquiry and motor vehicle check.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate kettle sites and scheduling using the Register to Ring platform.
• Enter kettle totals daily and payroll for paid bell ringers.
• Field kettle operation inquiries by phone from bell ringers, sites, drivers.
• Address kettle issues in collaboration with corps officers.
• Sort kettle funds and deliver to the bank as needed.
• Maintain positive work atmosphere and professional communication.
• Maintain Safe from Harm certification compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
