Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Kettle Assistant to support bell ringing and logistics for the Christmas campaign. The role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to learn kettle management databases.

Responsibilities include Register to Ring data entry, routing, bell ringer payroll, and vehicle support while upholding Safe from Harm standards and a courteous workplace environment.

Qualifications

• Must be of good moral character and able to interact in a friendly and compassionate manner.
• Candidates must have a passion for fulfilling the mission of The Salvation Army and must be articulate in presenting the same to others.
• Candidates must successfully pass the pre-employment background inquiry and annual motor vehicle check with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Data entry and use of the Register to Ring platform to coordinate kettle sites and routes.
• Assist with transportation of kettles and bell ringers to assigned locations.
• Field inquiries from kettle operators, sites, drivers, and others.
• Ensure kettle issues are addressed with corps officers.
• Help sort kettle funds and deliver to the bank when needed.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere and professional communication, adhering to Safe from Harm.
