Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a Christmas Kettle Assistant to support bell ringing and logistics for the annual campaign. You will help with data entry, scheduling routes, and coordinating kettle sites to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Local travel and adherence to safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have good moral character and compassionate approach.
• Pass pre-employment background inquiry and annual motor vehicle check with a valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant customer-service experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Data entry and use of the Territorial platform (Register to Ring) to coordinate kettle sites and routes.
• Assist with transportation of kettles and bell ringers to locations.
• Field inquiries from bell ringers, sites, and drivers regarding kettle operations.
• Address kettle issues in coordination with corps officers.
• Sort kettle funds and deliver to the bank when needed.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere with professional communication.
• Comply with The Salvation Army Safe from Harm certification.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
