The Salvation Army USA Western Territory Renton Corps is seeking a Kettle Coordinator to oversee the Christmas Kettle Program. This temporary, non-exempt role manages kettle workers and drivers, schedules sites, and maintains payroll and reporting records.

You will liaise with store managers, set up kettle sites, hire volunteers, track time sheets, and monitor productivity while ensuring compliance with procedures. On-site work required, with a November start through December 24.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma required; some post-secondary education preferred.
• Six months related experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Contact store managers to establish kettle sites and obtain documentation.
• Check equipment and maintain kettle stands, bells, aprons; keep clean.
• Assist with placing bell ringers' ads in newspapers and other outlets.
• Distribute applications and begin hiring after November 1st; ensure paperwork is complete.
• Interview and hire applicants; ensure all forms are completed; conduct background checks.
• Maintain daily data on bell ringers; duplicate paperwork and submit to DHQ upon request.
• Deliver kettle stands and signs to sites the day before kettles begin.
• Conduct orientation for kettle workers; review responsibilities and paperwork.
• Be available to assign workers to sites and address questions.
• Coordinate volunteers and driver schedules; manage routes.
• Collect daily time sheets and ensure payroll data accuracy.
• Perform spot checks to uphold image; troubleshoot issues.
• Keep records on kettle worker assignments; monitor site productivity.
• Assist with kettle money accounting; ensure kettles are accounted for.
