Job summary

The Salvation Army seeks a Kettle Assistant to support bell ringing and logistics for the Christmas campaign. The role involves data entry, coordination of kettle sites, scheduling, and payroll for bell ringers, with frequent travel and teamwork.

You must pass background checks, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Safe from Harm certification is required.

Qualifications

• Must be of good moral character and able to interact in a friendly and compassionate manner.
• Candidates must have a passion for fulfilling The Salvation Army's mission and articulate it well to others.
• Must pass pre-employment background inquiry and annual motor vehicle check with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for data entry and use of the Territorial platform to coordinate kettle sites and scheduling.
• Assist with transportation of kettles and bell ringers to locations.
• Field inquiries from bell ringers, sites, drivers, and others about kettle operations.
• Ensure kettle issues are addressed with corps officers.
• Help sort kettle funds and deliver to bank when needed.
• Maintain positive work atmosphere and professional communication; comply with Safe from Harm.
