Job summary

The Salvation Army Crystal Lake Corps is seeking a Kettle Coordinator to manage the daily Christmas Red Kettle Campaign operations in Crystal Lake. You will staff kettle locations, support volunteers and employees, coordinate routes and equipment, and ensure accurate campaign information and financial integrity.

Responsibilities include recruiting bell ringers, maintaining the kettle system, scheduling, driver route planning, and daily communication with staff, volunteers, and Corps Officers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's license/MVR clearance.

Responsibilities

• Recruit paid bell ringers and assist with volunteer recruitment.
• Maintain kettle system (Golden) for volunteers, sites, schedules, income and statistics.
• Schedule paid and volunteer bell ringers and ensure site coverage.
• Coordinate daily communication with bell ringers, volunteers, drivers, staff and Corps Officers.
• Train bell ringers on etiquette, safety and Army protocol.
• Prepare driver routes and distribute kettle equipment.
• Maintain accurate kettle income and statistics and follow expense procedures.
• Drive kettle routes each morning and evening and provide coverage as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
