Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory seeks a Seasonal Kettle Coordinator to lead the Red Kettle fundraising campaign. You will hire seasonal staff, schedule Bell Ringers and Drivers, and foster strong relationships with store managers.

You will oversee daily scheduling, communicate changes via print and Facebook, monitor office lines, and ensure accurate payroll reporting while coordinating with the Volunteer Coordinator throughout the season.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work with a diverse population in a professional manner.
• Experience in working with management.
• Ability to operate a computer and generate information.
• Ability to motivate and encourage staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage weekly Bell Ringers and Kettle Driver shift schedules.
• Communicate schedules to staff and volunteers via print and a dedicated Facebook page.
• Meet daily with Kettle Drivers to address routes and equipment needs.
• Monitor the Kettle Office phone and coordinate with seasonal employees.
• Input employee hours and ensure payroll is submitted by deadlines.
• Coordinate with the Volunteer Coordinator on the Master Schedule.
• Direct Kettle Drivers to maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness of equipment.
• Complete an Inventory and Condition Report of all equipment at season end.
