The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a Kettle Coordinator to manage day-to-day Red Kettle Campaign operations in Itasca County, including onboarding seasonal staff, scheduling, and site support. This seasonal position pays $15 per hour, 25 hours per week, through December 2026, and involves driving to kettle locations, compliance with safety

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience coordinating employees, volunteers, schedules, or similar operations preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and meet Salvation Army motor vehicle record requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate hiring and onboarding of seasonal bell ringers and kettle drivers, with orientation and training on procedures, safety, and mission.
• Review and maintain accurate timekeeping records for seasonal employees and submit records per payroll timelines.
• Develop and communicate daily schedules for staff and volunteers; manage call-offs and coverage needs.
• Coordinate kettle placement, pickup, and movement of equipment; visit kettle locations to support staff and volunteers.
• Maintain campaign records and enter data related to kettle activity, staffing, and collections; assist with reports.
• Assist with kettle routes, deliveries, pickups, and staffing coverage to support daily operations.
