Job summary

Nordstrom in Danville, CA is seeking a Customer Experience Specialist who will engage customers, tell stories, and connect shoppers to services like Online Order Pickup, Alterations, Styling, and Returns.

You’ll support in-store events, maintain store organization, and work with a team to deliver outstanding service. The role includes opening/closing responsibilities and light cleaning.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and engage with diverse audiences.
• Understand customer needs and connect to services (Online Order Pickup, Alterations, Styling, Returns, Gift Wrapping).
• Communicate professionally by phone and email; provide feedback on trends and style.
• Support back-of-house processes including inventory and store organization.
• Assist with event execution and RSVPs; act as door greeter as needed.
• Open/close the store on some shifts following security procedures.
• Perform light cleaning duties (sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, restrooms).
