Job summary

Nordstrom Inc. is seeking a customer-focused associate to deliver seamless service, handle returns and inquiries, and support order pickup with accuracy. You’ll train new hires on register use and contribute to a positive team environment.

Collaborate across departments to protect customer information, promote Nordstrom Loyalty, and adapt to evolving tools and services that enhance the shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to build relationships with customers, peers, and leaders.
• Proficiency in multiple operating systems such as MS Windows, iOS and Android.
• Clear, effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and deliver POS/register training to support onboarding of new hires.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Deliver seamless, friendly service by understanding customer needs and owning interactions from start to finish.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns with empathy and a solutions-focused approach.
• Accurately process transactions and ticketing using POS and store systems to support inventory accuracy.
• Build relationships with teammates and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment.
• Protect the security and privacy of customer information through education, compliance and resolution of issues.
• Promote initiatives such as the Nordstrom Loyalty program, along with new tools, software, and services that enhance the customer and employee experience.
