Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a customer-focused team member to provide friendly service, resolve returns, support order pickup, and help onboard new hires on the register. You will own customer interactions, build trust with shoppers and colleagues, and contribute to a positive store environment.

Hours vary including evenings and weekends. You will use POS and store systems to process transactions, support inventory accuracy, and promote Nordstrom Loyalty and new tools to enhance experiences for

Qualifications

• Strong ability to build relationships with customers, peers, and leaders.
• Proficiency in multiple operating systems such as MS Windows, iOS and Android.
• Clear, effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and deliver POS/register training to support onboarding of new hires.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver seamless, friendly service by understanding customer needs and owning interactions from start to finish.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns with empathy and a solutions-focused approach.
• Accurately process transactions and ticketing using POS and store systems to support inventory accuracy.
• Build relationships with teammates and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment.
• Protect the security and privacy of customer information through education, compliance and resolution of issues.
