ExplorUS in Stanley, VA is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor for a seasonal role at Shenandoah National Park. The position reports to the Lodging Manager and offers $19.00 per hour with start dates shown for Big Meadows Lodge and Skyland Resort.

You will support guest services, room revenue, and staff training, recruit and develop front desk teams, coordinate events, and ensure smooth operations across housekeeping, laundry and registration while upholding company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2 years front desk/hospitality experience preferred.
• 2 years supervisory or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lodging Manager with recruiting, interviewing, hiring and training of Guest Services staff.
• Provide effective supervision, professional development and recognition programs for Lodging staff.
• Design, plan and coordinate events to improve guest services and assist with room aesthetics.
• Coordinate monthly staff events to enhance team relations and a positive work environment.
• Ensure new hires have clean employee housing units and inspect rooms for health and safety standards.
• Facilitate communication between Housekeeping, Laundry and Registration for daily room releases.
• Train staff in park information and in line with ISO policies and company procedures.
• Other duties as identified per Duties Checklist.
