Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Client Service Professional / Receptionist to welcome clients and support daily office operations in person in Indiana. You will greet clients, manage check-in, and coordinate with tax professionals to connect clients with the right expert.

This role serves as a stepping stone into tax preparation or leadership within a collaborative team. The position requires strong communication, multitasking, and organization, with availability for evenings and weekends

Qualifications

Experience in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency with basic computer programs (Office, Teams).
Availability to work evenings and weekends during tax season.

Responsibilities

Greet clients warmly and create a welcoming first impression as the face of the office.
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and match clients with the right tax professional.
Manage client check-in and intake processes, including scanning and organizing documents.
Maintain office organization and cleanliness to support a smooth client experience.
Collaborate with tax professionals and team members to ensure seamless daily operations.
Handle sensitive client information with confidentiality and care.
