Job summary

SP+ Corporation is hiring for a facility maintenance role in Elmont, NY. The position involves cleaning, basic repairs, and assisting customers within the garage and office areas.

Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment, inspecting gates and ticket systems, and reporting issues to supervisors. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required. Shifts may include 3rd shift and weekends; benefits and seasonal pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High School Diploma or a combination of experience and education.
• License Requirement: Valid state-issued driver’s license if driving a company vehicle.
• Availability to Work: 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks to keep the facility tidy.
• Walk the garage daily to identify maintenance problems.
• Sweep and clean entrances, exits, stairs, and rails.
• Empty trashcans in garage, booth and office.
• Paint surfaces to keep areas neat and maintained.
• Replace burned out bulbs.
• Submit repair or maintenance requests.
• Check gate arms and ticket systems for proper operation.
• Provide tickets and record gate counters to management.
• Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies.
• Operate sweepers, scrubbers and related equipment.
• Snow removal from ramps and designated areas.
• Assist customers and resolve complaints.
• Maintain neat appearance in uniform and remain on schedule.
