Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis Company, seeks a facilities maintenance professional in New Orleans to support cleaning, repairs, and customer service at our garage facility. The role involves performing routine upkeep, painting, bulb replacement, and reporting repairs, with emphasis on safety and professionalism.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to operate basic equipment, and be available for shifts including nights and weekends if required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; experience encouraged.
• Ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Valid state driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
• Availability for 3rd shift and weekends if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks per checklists to keep the facility neat.
• Walk garage daily to identify maintenance problems.
• Maintain cleanliness in entrances, exits, offices and restrooms.
• Paint surfaces and replace bulbs as directed.
• Submit repair requests and report safety concerns.
• Assist customers and maintain professional appearance.
• Operate basic equipment like sweepers and scrubbers when needed.
