Job summary

Jackson Hewitt - 1689 seeks a Seasonal Assistant District Manager (ADM) to lead district operations across multiple stores and kiosks. You will recruit, train, and supervise seasonal teams, focusing on tax education, revenue growth, and profitability.

You will partner with the District Manager, oversee client relationships, and drive brand awareness while ensuring compliance with company standards. This seasonal role runs Sept 1, 2026, to Apr 25, 2027, with potential year-round opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent business experience; management or tax prep background preferred.
• Experience leading teams and driving performance across multiple locations.
• Strong communication and client service orientation is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-unit retail locations within the district and partner with the District Manager to drive efficiency, revenue, and profitability.
• Lead recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of seasonal staff and oversee tax education flow.
• Monitor performance, ensure quality standards and HR collaboration on training and issues.
• Ensure locations meet standards for setup, technology, and facilities; liaise with property managers.
• Grow the business by retaining clients, attracting new clients, and building brand awareness.
• Address client questions and resolve issues related to policies and procedures.
• Guide employees in handling difficult problems and escalated complaints.
• Monitor P&L performance and district goals including revenue and tax return counts.
