Job summary

MUNICIPAL is seeking a Customer Experience Representative (Seasonal) in Oceanside, CA to deliver outstanding support, resolve product questions, manage returns, and help create loyal customers. You will work with Shopify, Loop Returns, and CRM tools to ensure timely responses and accurate solutions during the busy holiday season.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in B2C e‑commerce customer service, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; business degree a plus.
• 1–2 years in customer service in a B2C e-commerce environment preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Expert phone and digital etiquette.
• Able to handle high volume customer inquiries efficiently.
• Familiar with Shopify/Shopify Plus, returns, and inventory tracking.
• Experience with help desk tools like Zendesk, Gorgias, or Freshdesk.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer experiences with professionalism and empathy.
• Respond to customer inquiries, online chats, and product questions within 24 hours.
• Use CRM (Gorgias) to resolve issues and provide solutions.
• Process returns and initiate refunds or e-gift cards via Shopify Plus/Loop Returns.
• Coordinate with Fulfillment Center Manager on order changes and tracking questions.
• Create e-gift cards and replacements using Shopify; monitor inventory levels.
• Identify and report recurring customer service issues to CX Manager.
• Adhere to company policies and maintain high quality of work.
