Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Chattanooga-Hixson, TN is looking for a team member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining in-store presentation to support our brand promises.

You will be involved in omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS, with opportunities to cross-train in framing services.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pick Up in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintain stock, including returns and go-backs
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; interact respectfully with others
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
