Job summary

Michaels in Bristol, TN is hiring for a store role focused on delivering friendly customer service and efficient checkout. You will assist customers, handle truck unloading, stocking, and merchandising while maintaining brand standards and participating in omnichannel processes.

Experience in retail or customer service is preferred. The role involves standing, lifting, and working nights/weekends as part of a climate-controlled public store environment.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and go-back process.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
