Job summary

Michaels is a leading arts and crafts retailer serving the United States. The Monroeville store seeks a friendly team member to help customers, keep shelves stocked, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience.

You will assist shoppers, unload trucks, stock products and support omnichannel services (BOPIS/SFS), while following SOPs and delivering great customer service. Benefits include a 401(k) with employer match and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Able to lift heavy boxes and reach high shelves.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and in-stock maintenance; manage returns/go back process.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs; follow SOPs and company policies.
• Interact with others professionally; promote company vision and values; be a role model.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
