Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Team Member in Shelby Township, MI to deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining store appearance through planograms and recovery processes.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, engaging in BOPIS/SFS processes, and upholding SOPs and safety programs. Opportunities to cross-train in framing are available.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on benefits of Michaels Rewards program and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain in-stock store through merchandise recovery and go-back procedures.
